Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between Dachshund Limousines Pty Ltd (ABN 91 661 872 251, NSW Point to Point Authorised Booking Service Provider BSP-428106) ("we", "us", "our") and you ("you", "Customer"). By requesting a quote, making a booking, paying an invoice, or otherwise engaging our chauffeur services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of This Website
This website is provided for general informational purposes about our services, vehicle and pricing. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate and current, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, error-free, or up-to-date at all times. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website, and we may modify or withdraw part or all of the website at any time without notice.
2. Our Services
We provide private chauffeur-driven limousine hire using a bespoke Mercedes-Benz VIP Sprinter. Our services include corporate and executive transport, celebrity and VIP transport, event transport, airport transfers, day tours, wedding transport, funeral transport, school formal transport and transport for special occasions. We service Sydney and surrounding regions, NSW.
We are a NSW Point to Point Authorised Booking Service Provider (BSP-428106) and hold $20 million public liability insurance.
3. Quotes and Pricing
- Quoted prices are indicative only and do not become fixed until the booking is confirmed in writing by us.
- Published rates apply to standard conditions. Additional charges apply for:
- travel outside the Sydney metropolitan area;
- services provided on public holidays; and
- kilometres travelled in excess of the package inclusions.
- Conditions apply to maximum kilometres, with additional charges for excess kilometres. Additional charges apply for travel outside the Sydney metropolitan area and for services provided on public holidays. All prices are indicative and confirmed at the time of booking.
- All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and (unless stated otherwise) inclusive of GST where applicable.
- Quotes are based on the information you provide. If the details of your booking change (for example, additional passengers, changed destinations, or extended duration), the price may be adjusted accordingly and confirmed in writing.
4. Travel Times and Arrival Estimates
Any travel times, arrival estimates or itinerary timings we provide are estimates only. They are subject to traffic, weather, road conditions, and events outside our control, and we do not guarantee exact arrival or journey times. Your chauffeur will plan routes to arrive as efficiently as conditions allow.
5. Bookings, Deposits and Cancellations
Booking, deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of booking and form part of your booking confirmation. The following general terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- A booking is confirmed only when we have accepted your request and (where required) received any deposit or payment we have specified.
- Deposit and cancellation terms, including any notice periods for cancellations or rescheduling, will be set out in your booking confirmation and are subject to the terms confirmed at the time of booking.
- We may cancel or reschedule a booking for reasons including vehicle unavailability, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond our reasonable control. Where we cancel, we will offer a rescheduled time or a refund of any amounts already paid.
6. Payment
- Payment is due on or before the provision of services, or as otherwise agreed in writing in your booking confirmation.
- We accept bank transfer and card payments as agreed at the time of booking. Card payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways.
- Late payments may incur reasonable recovery costs and interest at the rate prescribed under applicable New South Wales legislation.
7. Passenger Capacity and Conduct
7.1 Maximum Passenger Capacity
The maximum passenger capacity of our vehicle is 9 passengers in total — 8 in the rear VIP cabin plus 1 alongside the driver. This maximum may not be exceeded under any circumstances.
7.2 Passenger Conduct
Passengers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and lawfully during the hire. The chauffeur may terminate or refuse a journey where a passenger's behaviour is unsafe, unlawful or poses a risk to the vehicle, the chauffeur, or other passengers.
7.3 Damage to the Vehicle
The Customer is responsible for the conduct of all passengers. The operator reserves the right to charge for any cleaning, repair or replacement of damage caused to the vehicle or its fittings during the period of hire, including (without limitation) damage to the leather interior, crystal glassware, entertainment equipment, or cabin fixtures. Charges will be reasonable and reflect the cost of rectification.
8. Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for the loss of, or damage to, personal items left in the vehicle. If you believe an item has been left behind, please contact us as soon as possible and we will make reasonable efforts to locate and return it.
9. Your Australian Consumer Law Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law where it cannot lawfully be excluded. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject to Section 9):
- our total aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise, is limited to the fees you have paid us in respect of the booking giving rise to the claim;
- we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive loss or damage, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of opportunity;
- we are not liable for delays or failures caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, branding, logos, photographs, designs and other materials, is owned by Dachshund Limousines Pty Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts of appeal from them.
13. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with any quote or booking confirmation we issue, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the services.
- Severability: if any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a sale or restructure of our business.
